Martin T. Adam: Producer, playwright, songwriter

As playwright, songwriter, and producer Martin began work on What the Buddha Never Taught in 2014. A professor of Buddhist Studies at the University of Victoria, his most recent research has focused on Buddhist narrative literature, with a book chapter on that topic recently published by Oxford University Press. In 2017-18 he was Artist in Residence at the Centre for Studies in Religion and Society where he prepared his script for a tabled reading with UVIC Theatre students. In 2019 two staged readings were held at the University of Victoria   and on Salt Spring Island. In 2020 he was awarded a Creative Residency at the ArtSpring Centre. Martin lives on Salt Spring Island with his family and four cats.
