Marc Atkinson: Musical Arrangements, Co-writer

The virtuosity and compositional strengths of Marc are showcased in the recordings and live performances of The Marc Atkinson Trio, the internationally renowned acoustic trio described by Jurgen Goethe as “one of the top ten of the world’s working string trios.” Atkinson is arguably as well known for his contributions to Canada’s roots/acoustic music super group, The Bills. He is a Juno nominee and winner of two Western Canadian Music Awards. In 2021 Marc received the Canadian Folk Music Award for his instrumental acoustic album, Solo. Marc was also voted Canadian Folk Music Association Instrumental Artist of the Year 2021. Marc recorded and provided musical arrangements on the What the Buddha Never Taught album, as well as co-writing a number of individual tracks.
